MD Tech Pro was selected by the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA) as a panel expert to discuss EMR selection, implementation and support best practices.

The event titled "EMR - 20 Tips to Success" will be held June 21st in Phoenix Arizona and is open to all AOMA members as well as non-member administrators and physicians. Chad Barczuk, the IT Director for MD Tech Pro, will be the lead presenter of this free lunch and learn event. Chad has personally been involved in the implementation of EMR solutions at over 65 medical practices throughout the US and Arizona.

In addition to Chad, two local medical practice administrators from Scottsdale Arizona will share what they learned during the EMR implementation and support process. These administrators serve as a Practice Manager and a Collections and EMR Specialist respectively and attendees will learn what to do or not to do during each critical phase as it relates to an EMR. Rounding out the event and panel are two representatives from the Arizona Regional Extension Center who will provide information and share what free services are available to medical practices in Arizona for meeting meaningful use. Attaining meaningful use is a necessary step for a practice to qualify for government incentives.
